Opening or removing a load-bearing wall generally requires structural verification, usually involving a beam and a transfer arrangement. Send us photographs and a floor plan, and we will explain what is needed.
How much does structural design cost?
We offer smaller tasks for a fixed fee. For larger new buildings, fees follow the HOAI framework, taking account of eligible construction costs and the fee zone. We always provide a firm proposal before work begins.
How soon can I receive the calculations?
This depends on the scope. After reviewing your enquiry, we will give you a specific completion date. Smaller calculations can often be prepared at short notice.
Do you also work outside Saxony?
Yes. We work on projects throughout Germany, including Berlin, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein. Coordination takes place digitally.
Do you also work on smaller alterations?
Yes, from a single beam or a balcony addition to a roof structure. Small projects matter to us just as much as large ones.
What is an independent structural check, and do I need one?
Depending on the German state and building class, the structural calculations are checked by an independent checking engineer. We prepare documents suitable for checking and coordinate with the checking engineer.
Will you work with my architect?
Of course. We coordinate the structural concept and member dimensions with architects, specialist designers and contractors at an early stage.
