Structural detailing for two alterations to an existing building in Chemnitz: a transfer beam for a new basement opening and a steel support structure for a wall-mounted jib crane.
The construction drawings show the load-bearing members and the principal connections. The design combines a targeted alteration of the existing structure with support for an additional technical installation.
